Starting his musical studies from early childhood he has become one of the world's leading panflute virtuosos. Besides giving concerts Ulli is also very active as an panflute instructor and has been invited to international seminars for many years. In 2000 he was honored as “best classical virtuoso” of the year and awarded Germanys highest musical award, the famous “Echo” award by the Academy of Recorded Arts. Recently he was featured on the soundtrack of the latest “Lord of the Rings” trilogy, along with such artist as flutist James Galway. About the book...
